MDA Food Handler License
Minnesota Department of Agriculture
Dayib's Goods is fully licensed through the Minnesota Department of Agriculture (MDA) as a certified Food Handler. This license confirms that our operation meets Minnesota's food safety, sanitation, and handling requirements for commercial food businesses. The MDA Food Handler License is a mandatory certification for any commercial bakery operating in the state, ensuring compliance with state food code and public health standards.
ServSafe Certified
National Restaurant Association
Dayib's Goods is ServSafe certified — a nationally recognized food safety credential administered by the National Restaurant Association. ServSafe certification fulfills Minnesota's requirement for a Certified Food Protection Manager (CFPM) on staff, and covers foodborne illness prevention, proper food temperatures, personal hygiene, cross-contamination prevention, and sanitation. Certification requires passing a proctored exam and is valid for five years.
Our Kitchen Practices
Every loaf of Dayib's Goods banana bread is baked in a clean, controlled environment following strict food safety protocols. Our practices include:
- Thorough handwashing and proper personal hygiene before and during all food preparation
- Regular sanitization of all surfaces, utensils, and equipment
- Proper separation of ingredients to prevent cross-contamination
- Temperature monitoring throughout the baking and cooling process
- Secure, hygienic packaging before every delivery
Allergen Transparency
Our banana bread contains wheat, eggs, milk, and walnuts. Products are prepared in a kitchen that may also process peanuts and other tree nuts. We are committed to full transparency about our ingredients so that café partners and their customers can make informed decisions. Delivery & Handling
All products are packaged and transported with the same care they were baked with. Dayib's Goods manages its own delivery logistics, ensuring that loaves arrive fresh, properly handled, and ready to serve. We never cut corners on packaging or transport conditions.
